10 Forgotten Actors That Need To Make A Comeback

bill-murray-reading-poetry What does it mean to be a forgotten actor? Honestly this list was quite a challenge to put together. Any actor that may be worthy of a comeback surely can't be forgotten completely can they? That is a question I had to ask myself. You will see quite a few Hollywood heavyweights on this list that might make you think "hey what are you talking about they don't need a comeback" but upon further investigation you will notice that they really haven't done much recently. Hollywood is a tough place. If you find yourself overexposed people will hate you. If you find yourself underexposed people might hate you just the same. Actors have a tough job and it is very hard to keep everyone happy. In this list you are bound to see a few actors that you might not have even noticed were gone but once you think about it things will all make sense. Hollywood heavyweights, comedians, method actors nothing is off limits here. Everyone has a rise and fall but sooner or later each one of these actors will come searching for redemption. Will you be there to answer the call or will you just ignore their desperate plea?

10. Dave Chappelle

timthumb On first thought you might wonder what the hell I am thinking. In the early 2000s Dave Chappelle was all the rage. His stand up act was fresh and people all around the world loved him. I remember very vividly how much passion everyone around me had when they quoted the latest episode of Chappelle's show. Dave's run on Comedy Central was pure gold. I don't care how much if a hipster you are, you can't deny it. Chapelle's show made you laugh and you know it did. Half Baked was an epic breakthrough for stoner comedy back in the year 1998. You may think it is one of those "its so dumb its funny movies" but the truth is, its just plain funny. Dave shines in small roles such as his role in Robin Hood Men In Tights, 200 Cigarettes and (yea I'm gonna say it) Con Air. A Dave Chappelle cameo would be warmly welcomed in today's modern age of cinema or TV landscape but a leading role would be just as well received. You might not notice how much you miss Dave Chappelle but once he makes his way on to your large or small screen you will see that he fills a hole that only he can.
