Anna reunites with her husband Mark after he returns from work and inexplicably wants a divorce, with him later discovering a lover named Heinrich as the potential cause - it all sounds like a pretty standard drama until you bring malformed creatures, doppelgängers, and refrigerated body parts into the mix. Ah, there we are, a classic in the making.

Consistently rated highly by critics whilst straddling the 'video nasty' branding, Possession is a strange story that shows far more than it tells, leaving the watcher to try and unravel Anna's bizarre actions and reactions in the process.
