10 Funniest Deaths In Comedy Movies

4. It's A Disaster - Late To Brunch

This hilariously morbid entry comes from the unjustly underrated black comedy It's A Disaster and shows why you should take your social engagements seriously.

After several dirty bombs go off in the nearby city, a group of eight people having a couple's brunch find themselves quarantined together. One couple however arrive late, as they always do, and Tracy, played by Julia Stiles, decides to keep everyone else safe and not let them in. A later scene shows the two dead outside on the doorstep.

Their deaths are funny for two reasons. The first is how disarmingly dark they are. Well, the entire movie is dark, but the cut to their corpses right outside the door later on is jarring in a way that'll make you go from a nervous chuckle to full on laughter.

The second reason is how petty Tracy is. Yes, she does make the logical choice, but she also scolds them for always coming late to brunch and for woman of the couple hooking up with one of her ex's. It's clear that somewhere deep down she kind of enjoys turning her back on them, which, while messed up, is also comedy gold.

Moral of the story? Don't be late.
