10 Funniest Things That Happened During The Making Of Harry Potter
9. Rupert Grint’s Drawing
Just like the character he embodies on screen, Rupert Grint has a terrific sense of humour. Throughout the making of Harry Potter, he developed a reputation amongst the cast and crew for inappropriate laughter, and he got up to plenty of other mischief, too.
When filming the Gryffindors' first Potions lesson with Professor Snape, Rupert started doodling with his quill and decided to draw an unflattering picture of Alan Rickman by exaggerating many of his facial features.
Rickman, having noticed what Rupert was doing, crept up behind him and gazed down upon this unpleasant drawing. Fully aware of Rickman's foreboding presence, Rupert felt a certain degree of panic. But, luckily for him, Rickman actually took a liking to the picture. He even asked Rupert to sign the picture before taking it home for safekeeping.
Rickman's appreciation for the drawing continued long after they finished filming the first movie. Years later, the actor admitted that he still owned this amusing picture, and he was actually rather fond of it.
