Scarlet Witch is now a confirmed character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Months of rumours about her and her twin brother Quicksilver came in to fruition when filming started on Avengers: Age of Ultron and Elizabeth Olsen was seen on set in the Scarlet Witch get-up and, more recently, she was seen along with Quicksilver (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson) in the mid-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
