10 Ghastly Movie Kisses We Wish We Could Unsee
9. I Love You Man
Americas favorite lovable guy Paul Rudd stars in what is probably the most emblematic film of the bromance subgenre featuring the most bromance-y movie title anyone could possibly come up with. Here is the central premise: Peter (Paul Rudd) is getting married to a woman he really loves but the problem is, he doesnt really have any guy friends who could be his best man. Thus begins his crusade to find a heterosexual life-mate who can fulfill the duties of being the Best Man at his wedding. Cue laughter.
Part of the fun of this movie is watching Peter essentially date his way into finding a fellow bro. The most memorable man he meets is Doug (Thomas Lennon), who goes on a date with him and believes it to be a romantic outing. At the end of the night, Doug surprises him with a kiss...but not just any kiss; this is reaching-for-the-rafters-in-the-back-of-your-throat mayhem that ensues, made more awkward by the huge misunderstanding taking place.
It wouldve been okay if Peter kissed back but he sits there like a helpless puppy, making it painful to watch. And as if that wasnt enough, Doug pulls away, surveys the situation, and goes back for seconds. So bromantic.
