Wade (Ryan Reynolds) is subjected to oxygen deprivation torture by Ajax (Ed Skrein), which causes his face to become disfigured.

Eventually he's able to break free by striking a match, causing an explosion and essentially triggering Wade's rebirth as Deadpool after being left for dead.

However, there's no reason for the oxygen tank to have exploded: an explosion needs a fuel, an oxidizer and heat, and so there's no reason for the pure oxygen to combust at all, let alone in the gigantic dramatic fireball it does in the movie.

Sure, this is in a film about a guy who breaks the fourth wall and can regenerate limbs, but it's still a valid hole.
