3. Hacking Deadites Up
This one is more of a joint entry as similar scenes exist in both Evil Dead 1 and 2, but it's tough to choose just one. These similar scenes revolve around a Deadite meeting its demise by being violently hacked to bits with an axe. If you want my personal opinion, its far more graphic and disturbing in the original because to me, theres something about milk being passed off as blood that I find incredibly disturbing. Yes, milk was actually passed off as blood occasionally to avoid further rating issues http://youtu.be/223JtlbvHZ0 In Evil Dead 2, a Deadite is also hacked up with an axe (This time actually by Ash too, instead of standing around and losing battles with falling bookshelves like in the original). This time around though green colored blood was used, which is still gruesome but ultimately more comical.
