4. Another Girlfriend Bites The Dust
As previously mentioned, Ash does not have the best of luck with women. So it shows here, as once again (or for the first time if you follow the timeline that Evil Dead 2 is actually just an updated remake of its predecessor) his girlfriend is possessed, leading to yet another shovel decapitation. Soon after being buried however, the corpse reanimates itself from the dead in classic stop-motion animation form to continue haunting and tormenting Ash. After some extended battling where a decapitated head chews all over Ash, he makes his way to the work shed outside the cabin and places the head inside a clamp. Ash then notices that the chainsaw is mysteriously missing, although he isnt able to contemplate its whereabouts for long as his girlfriends headless body storms into the shed, aforementioned chainsaw in hand. Ash fights back with a lug wrench, pushing the chainsaw towards the innards of the indentation of where her head should be. As usual blood begins spurting relentlessly. Ash grabs the chainsaw and brutally saws the head down the middle, meaning that instead of swallowing Ash's soul as she keeps promising to do instead she's swallowing a chainsaw. Even though the image is shown via silhouette from outside the shed, its still fairly graphic assuming you have even the slightest of imaginations.
