1. Michael Caine As Hoagie Newcombe In Jaws IV: The Revenge
To be honest, a few of Mr Caine's films during the 80s could have gone in here- but this seemed the most appropriate. There's something beautifully shambolic and ridiculous about Jaws 4. Firstly, the shark in question seems to be more of a criminal mastermind than mere aquatic animal. Not only does it kill the son of the main character, it manages to stalk the main character from Amy Island (in the North East US) to the Bahamas in the Carribean- a fact that is later attributed partly to a 'psychic connection' between the main character and the shark that remains unexplained for the rest of the movie (I assume to not make it sound any more ridiculous). This is not factoring in the low budget special effects that see the shark looking less than authentic. To his credit, Caine has taken a pretty honest stance about his motives about being in the film, simple saying that "I have never seen it , but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific!" In a way it's ironic. As Alfred, he could have just asked Batman to borrow the shark repellent...
