10 Great (But Unexpected) Uses Of Music In Movies

6. Don't Stop Me Now (Shaun Of The Dead)

shaunofthedeadpool For this slot we enlist another comedy horror in the form of Simon Pegg's Shaun of the Dead. In this particular scene, Shaun (Pegg) and his friends are trapped in The Winchester - their local pub, which was supposed to be their safe haven in the zombie apocalypse. As hundreds of zombies try to claw their way in from the outside, the pub's landlord John (Steve Emerson) reanimates inside the pub as one of the walking dead. Just as John reanimates, the jukebox (being 'on random') suddenly starts playing Queen's Don't Stop Me Now unexpectedly. Shaun, Ed (Nick Frost) and Liz (Kate Ashfield) are forced to lay the smackdown on John using pool cues - which they humorously do in sync with the beat of the music.
