10 Great Comic Book Moments That Should Be In A Movie

2. Loki Fighting For Himself

Loki For Myself In Thor #353, Loki comes out with a line that will forever live in the memory of its readers because it epitomises him. After Thor had suffered a horrendous assault at the hands of the fire demon Surtur who, as usual, was intent on killing everyone in the universe, he recovers and reveals to Surtur that he will again stand up to him and stand between him and the destruction of all who live. When Surtur slams down this notion and tells Thor that he will die a fiery and painful death, the next panel reveals that both Thor's Father, Odin, and his adopted, but usually treacherous brother, Loki will be fighting alongside him. Odin gives a brief speech about dying a glorious death before proclaiming he will be attacking "for Asgard", Thor follows with "for Midgard" and finally Loki says "for myself!" Brilliant. It would be great to see the Marvel Cinematic Universe versions of the characters fighting alongside each other in such a way that enables this to happen in a movie.
