10 Great Comic Book Movies You'll Never Watch Again (And Why)

2. Iron Man 3

What It€™s About: Still suffering from the after-effects of saving New York City, Tony Stark is looking to step away from superheroics and work on fixing his relationships. When he becomes caught in the plot of an old business rival and an international terrorist, he has to face his demons and question what he wants his legacy to be. Why It€™s Great: Shane Black has an incredibly witty style about him and it perfectly suits Tony Stark. The sarcastic tone and retro vibe give it a distinct identity while still making it feel like it belongs in the MCU. It€™s the perfect example of a how director can imprint their stamp on a superhero while still adhering to the larger universe they belong to. Why You€™ll Never Watch It Again: There€™s been few twists as divisive as the reveal of The Mandarin. Some people are fine going back to this one but many are still pissed off at how the classic villain was handled. The real injustice is just how good Ben Kingsley€™s fake Mandarin was. He handled the villain€™s characteristics so well and he felt so legitimately terrifying that when he was revealed as a sham for a much lesser villain, it just left a sour taste in many fans' mouths and makes the entire film hard to watch again as a result.
