10 Great Comic Book Movies You'll Never Watch Again (And Why)

1. The Dark Knight Rises

What It€™s About: In the wake of Harvey Dent's death and the Joker's rampage, Bruce Wayne has receded from the public and Gotham has become a safe haven. This epic finale is kicked off when the hulking terrorist Bane arrives in the city, bent on razing it to the ground with the help of its people, forcing Batman to come out of retirement to stop him. Why It€™s Great: Brining such a massive trilogy to an end is no small task and The Dark Knight Rises absolutely nails its conclusion. To go along with that satisfying ending, the movie is bigger as a story, boasting the best action in the series and many of the actors at the top of their game. Why You€™ll Never Watch It Again: The Dark Knight Rises is a movie that becomes more frustrating the more times you watch it. While its epic scope clouded some of the failings of the story on a first viewing, coming back to it makes all of the plot flaws incredibly apparent. How did Bruce heal his back so fast? How did he get back to Gotham? Why did nearly every single police officer go into the sewers? There€™s an endless stream of contrivances beyond those ones that are negligible at first but eventually start dragging the viewer out of the film to ask logistical questions. Leave this one be and try not to think of the narrative leaps it made while bringing a close to the trilogy.
