Sunshine Cleaning, although extremely similar in style to Little Miss Sunshine, takes a small step away from the quirkiness of the more successful antecedent. All of the characters, although peculiar in their own right, remain very much grounded in reality, reflecting fleshed out representations of everyday people struggling through life.
These beautifully written characters are cast perfectly, with Amy Adams and Emily Blunt once again proving that they are far from mere eye candy.
