10. John Fawcett
For those of you who don't watch Orphan Black, which, statistically, is most of you, you should probably start watching Orphan Black. I've written about it before for WhatCulture - it really is a special piece of television, blessed with a phenomenal lead actress and filling the incredibly niche "TV Show About Clones" market that is so coveted by people who want to sell T-shirts but don't want to put in the effort to draw more than one face. The series is also bolstered by a truly wonderful directorial staff, including John Fawcett, the man at the helm of the show's fantastic season 1 finale. The sensibilities Fawcett acquired on Orphan Black would be really integral to grounding some of the more fantastical elements sure to arise in the more otherworldly projects Marvel seems interested in making. He'd be my number one choice to direct a Doctor Strange movie, or something else involving space or wizards or anything a director like Zack Snyder wouldn't know how to handle. Plus, his involvement could signal the coming of Tatiana Maslany as the next great force in the actress world.
