It may seem like I'm specifically targeting TV directors for these positions. Firstly, television is in its all-time Golden Age right now, with more great and diverse television on the airwaves right now than ever before. Television is where I am seeing the really interesting directors at work, those who are about to break out big time. Secondly, as with Alan Taylor, the Russo Brothers, and Edgar Wright making superhero films of their own in the next few years, it's not so unfeasible that any of these people could snatch up another spot. MacLaren has more than proven herself as a director during her time on Breaking Bad, and she would be as great as anyone might possibly be at the wheel of the S.S. Capeandtights.
