8. Vader Catches Han Solo's Blast (The Empire Strikes Back)
In The Empire Strikes Back, Han Solo, along with Leia Organa, C-3PO and Chewbacca, ventured to Cloud City on Bespin in 3 ABY to seek refuge in their attempted escape from the evil Empire. There, they met up with Han Solo's friend, Lando Calrissian, who was serving as the Baron Administrator of Cloud City at the time. Unfortunately for them, they walked into a trap set up by Darth Vader, which Lando was forced into aiding when the Empire arrived shortly before Han Solo and his friends. When they were led, by Lando, to a room in which Vader was waiting, Han Solo opened fire on the Sith Lord with his blaster but, probably by utilising his force powers, Vader simply raised his right hand and absorbed the blasts, completely no-selling them.
