2. Much Ado About Nothing - Keanu Reeves
Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh, and Keanu Reeves: which one of these things is not like the others? The one thing that I've always respected about Keanu Reeves is that he usually knows the type of roles he should be playing -- he works in stoic (read: wooden) parts that don't require a huge amount of emotion. But wow, was he out of his depth in this movie. Wrap your head around the idea of Keanu Reeves acting in a straight Shakespeare film adaptation, alongside some of the best classically trained actors Great Britain has to offer. It's an inspired idea for a film, but who on earth thought Keanu Reeves needed to be in it? His discomfort with the material is immediately apparent, and it's borderline uncomfortable to watch him desperately try to keep up with the rest of the cast.
