10 Great "Hard To Find" Behind The Scenes Documentaries

3. Grease: VH1 Behind The Music

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FZR2LMvang Behind the Music needs no introduction. The music biography anthology series was a highly dramatic and compulsively watchable show that became not just a staple of music culture but general pop culture as well. Given their format for typically covering only real world bands it must have been a shock when devotees tuned in to discover that an entire behind the music episode had been devoted to the movie Grease. The shock must have passed rather quickly because it's a fantastic behind the scenes documentary. What makes it so special? Maybe its the fact that they were able to assemble most of the major cast for new interviews, including John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, and, the man himself, Eddie Deezen (he rocks so hard). Getting most of the main cast back together may not sound like a big deal but considering the fact that the "special edition" DVD of the film itself wasn't able to do so (they only got side characters and used archival interviews for the main stars) the Grease Behind the Music special deserves way more appreciation than it gets. At least people showed up for that one. Check it Out. Grease is the word.

Raymond Woods is too busy watching movies to give you a decent bio. If he wasn't too busy watching movies and reading books about movies and listening to podcasts about movies, this is what he'd tell you. "I know more about film than you. Accept this as a fact and we might be able to talk."
