10 Great "Hard To Find" Behind The Scenes Documentaries

4. Biography: Inside Stories (Jaws, Saturday Night Fever, Silence Of The Lambs, Scream)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC3bh0Yj-Fs Not wanting to be left out the fray, The Biography Channel joined in the movie backstory game with there series Inside Story. The first noticeable difference between Backstory and Inside Story is the length. Each episode of Inside Story is 2 hours long with commercials and an hour and a half without. The increased length meant extra time could be taken doing more in-depth research and analysis of the film in question. In fact the amount of expertise and insight present in these Inside Story docs rival the typical behind the scenes features you usually see on even the most loaded DVD's. A few Inside Story episodes have even been included on the DVD releases of the films the profile (for instance John Carpenter's Halloween). Those that have yet to be made available on DVD can still be, for the most part, found online. Just have a lot of time to spare to watch them.
