9. "He's A Friend From Work!" - Thor: Ragnarok
Has a trailer ever contained a more quotable line?
Thor's exuberant bellow upon seeing his old work buddy took the internet by storm when the trailer hit the internet back in 2017, and it remains one of the MCU's greatest lines.
Which makes it all the more astonishing that it came from someone who had nothing to do with Thor, Marvel, or the movie industry in general.
While promoting the movie at Comic-Con, Chris Hemsworth revealed that the line came from a Make-A-Wish child who was visting the set as part of his wish. Hemsworth, being the decent soul he is, made a point of chatting with the child whenever he had a spare moment, and it was during one such conversation the latter mentioned that it would be funny if Thor said Hulk was a friend from work.
Hemsworth agreed, as did director Taika Waititi, and the result is now one of the MCU's most celebrated moments.
No jokes here. Just a very sincere "Thank you" to the kid who brought some levity into the lives of everyone who's since bellowed "He's a friend from work!"
