10 Great Improvised MCU Moments
8. Hawkeye Plots Quicksilver's Murder - Avengers: Age Of Ultron
Hawkeye may not be everyone's favourite Avenger, but he's definitely the most relatable.
The odd man out in a world of Gods, super soldiers and battle-armoured billionaires, Clint Barton's's relatively grounded skillset and personality make him the most approachable member of Marvel's superhero club, and the above clip sees him at his snarktacular best.
Clint's relationship with the Maximoff twins in Age of Ultron is an oft-unsung highlight of the second Avengers movie, as the archer alternates between building a fatherly bond with Wanda to getting increasingly irritated by Pietro. After receiving yet another needling from the silver-haired speedster, Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner improvised the above monologue, wherein the archer fantasises about shooting Pietro in the back and blaming the "speedy bastard's" demise on Ultron.
We've all had fantasies about something horrible happening to a particularly aggravating co-worker/classmate/stranger on the bus, and Renner's decision to have Hawkeye verbalise his frustration with Pietro made the archer that much more likeable, and provided Age of Ultron with one of its best moments.
And on the subject of relatable characters...
