10 Great Movies That Are Under 90 Minutes

7. Phone Booth

Run Time: 81 minutes Shot in only ten days and for less than 2 million, Joel Shumacher€™s Phone Booth is top-notch entertainment and only an hour and twenty minutes long (including the five minute end credits). The film has great pacing with an obvious Hitchcock influence and a stellar performance by Colin Farrell during the early years of his career. The most impressive thing about Phone Booth is the drastic character transition as Farrell goes from a sleazy, pretentious publicist into a regretful scoundrel. It doesn€™t take long for the audience to eventually sympathize with him and be on his side. Additionally, Shumacher€™s directing talents clearly show, as it€™s pretty difficult to make a movie work when it takes place in a confined space and with such few characters. Filmed in ten days and only 81 minutes long, Phone Booth just might be among the best €œquick€ movies out there.
