Run Time: 90 minutes Short, fun, thrilling, unexpected, and possibly one of the most underrated and underappreciated films of the 2000s. Without giving too much away, Identity is best described as a psychological thriller thats cleverly disguised as a typical whodunit movie. Director James Mangold does a stellar job at creating a dark and somewhat surreal setting while effectively utilizing multiple viewpoint shots. The cast is great and the characters are diverse and given enough attention to keep you engaged. John Cusack, Ray Liotta, Amanda Peet, and John Hawkes all did their best and it showed. A very fun and intriguing thriller thats definitely not longer than it needs to be.
