10 Great Movies To Fall Asleep To

1. 2001: A Space Odyssey

A favourite of your parents during their stoned and reckless youths almost fifty years past, Kubrick's masterpiece still has more than enough energy to sustain a heated discussion of both its broader themes as well as the more obtuse gears of its various plot engines. Long sequences of spaceships docking and monkeys learning how to hit things with bones have gained it a kind of infamy among people who have little patience for the slow burn.
