10 Great Movies With Iconic Colour Palettes

1. Schindler's List (1993)

Universal PicturesUniversal PicturesNot all colour palettes are as you would expect, and our final entry in this list exemplifies that concept. Schindler's List is a film that is famous for abhoring colour and dealing with a subject that is extremely distressing and sensitive for the majority of the world. Handled with care by Steven Spielberg as the principal director, with Liam Neeson taking the lead role of Schindler. Schindler's List is almost entirely black and white, with a single exception of a young girl in a red coat. It is that single moment of colour in an entirely dark and monochrome world, that enforces how powerful colour is in a world where that darkness of the subject matter seems to drain all colour from the world.
