10 Great Movies Starring Breaking Bad Actors You Need To See

6. Bryan Cranston - The Infiltrator (2016)

Following his multi-award winning turn as Walter White - offering up one of the greatest TV performances of all time - Bryan Cranston had the world at his feet.

He'd starred in Argo in 2012, which was awesome (Best Picture win aside), his short role in Godzilla stole the show, and in 2015 he secured an Oscar nod for his excellent work in the biopic Trumbo.

But the best of Cranston's post-Breaking Bad work - at least as a leading man - has to be The Infiltrator, a gripping, explosively acted crime-thriller from Brad Furman. The film tells the story of US Customs agent Robert Muzar, who helped uncover a banking conspiracy linked to Pablo Escobar and went undercover to become a lead presence in a drug running scheme.

Joined by the likes of Diane Kruger, Amy Ryan and John Leguizamo, Cranston gives a rousing performance of the real-life agent, and though some of the twists and turns are pretty predictable, the rest of the film is tense, exciting and daring enough to match him scene-for-scene.

Aidan Whatman hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
