4. Gillian Jacobs - Ibiza (2018)
Ibiza is a 2018 romantic comedy distributed by Netflix, following three girls on their trip to Ibiza. The main character of this raunchy comedy, Harper, is played by Gillian Jacobs, the former Community actor.
The film follows Jacobs as she goes to Spain for a business trip and quickly develops a crush on DJ Leo West, played by Game Of Thrones alumni Richard Madden. In her attempts to find her crush, Jacobs follows him to Ibiza where shenanigans ensue. Her friends follow her to Ibiza, because they're desperate for a fun time on the island with their friend.
The film was met to mostly warm reception from critics, but did cause some controversy. The picture was shot in Croatia as opposed to the real island of Ibiza, which led the Ibizan government to take action and sue Netflix for a potentially unfair and negative representation of the island.
Gillian Jacobs seems to still be doing well after Community with roles like this, as well as a role in the new Fear Street Trilogy on Netflix and a few other roles in recent comedies.
