6. Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina (2018 - 2020) - Tati Gabrielle
Before she brought the character of Marienne to life in You, Tati Gabrielle portrayed witch Prudence Blackwood in Netflix's supernatural horror Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show ran for two seasons (split into four parts) before its premature shock cancellation in 2020 reportedly due to the effects of the pandemic.
Created by Riverdale writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is set within the same universe as Riverdale and unsurprisingly centres on the young witch Sabrina Spellman, who must save the town of Greendale from the evil forces which threaten it. After some initial rivalry, Tati's character Prudence assists Sabrina in her mission.
If you're a fan of Riverdale, you're certain to love Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which feels more mature despite still being teen-orientated. The show shares Riverdale's melodrama but it feels much more natural and at home in a town full of witches, satanic creatures, and lords of Hell.
Don't be put off by the show's cancellation. The story is wrapped up to an extent but if you are desperate for more, Sabrina is set to make an appearance in Riverdale's current sixth season and a Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comic book series is set to be released, which will follow what would have been the events of the show's third season.
