7. Gorgon
Marvel ComicsAnother Wolverine-specific villain for future movies could be Gorgon (the mutant Tomi Shishido, not the Inhuman). Although Shishido is strongly associated to organisations like HYDRA and The Hand (the former of which is already long-established in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and latter of which is likely to appear in it at some point), his strong association with Wolverine means it is far more likely that he will appear in an X-Men movie than a Marvel Studios offering. Possessing superhuman strength, speed, agility, dexterity, reflexes, coordination, balance and endurance, as well as a regenerative healing factor, telepathy, a genius level intellect, superb hand-to-hand fighting skills, expert swordsmanship, a teleportation device and a gaze that will turn you to stone (just like his mythological namesake), Gorgon is a formidable foe for Logan - indeed, he has beaten him outright in the comics on more than one occasion. Essentially, he's everything Wolverine is and more. When William Stryker put Lady Deathstrike up against Wolverine in X2, the hero found it difficult enough to deal with her - and all she had was the same healing factor and adamantium-coated bones that he did. With Gorgon's healing factor and a variety of other powers and talents, he would surpass even Deadpool and the Silver Samurai as an individual threat for Wolverine.
