10 Greatest Book To Movies Adaptations Ever

4. Gone With The Wind

Gone with the Wind 4Film Directed By: Victor Fleming, George Cukor & Sam Wood Original Work By: Margaret Mitchell One of the longest and greatest films of all time, adapted from one of the longest and finest novels ever written. Gone With The Wind is an American classic, a staple of pre-war movies. It starred Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh and is set in the much-discussed Civil War and Reconstruction era. I think that, because of its lengthy running time, many of the current generation have been reluctant to see it, but I highly advise it, if not only to watch the role played by Hattie McDaniel, one of her best.

I like Stanley Kubrick, Gore Vidal & Daniel Day-Lewis. I do not like the United States, Obama and most other Presidents.
