Jim Carrey struck gold when he came up with everybody's favourite pet detective - Ace Ventura. The larger than life animal lover is a chaotic combination of dad jokes, extreme physical comedy and energy levels cranked up to 11!
His catchphrases alone such as "B-E-A-U-tiful" and "all righty then" are key phrases in any dad's vocabulary and we have this man to thank for them. Ventura channels his inner dad comedy for the entirety of the film cracking jokes at awkward times and not caring about how they are received.
The epitome of his dad-ness comes when he is tasked to investigate the tank belonging to Snowflake - a dolphin who had recently been kidnapped. Despite the gravity of the situation, Ventura tells his clients "If I'm not back in 5 minutes - just wait longer" and proceeds to do an impression of the entire Star Trek crew.
