9. Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill!
Yes, that is a reference to the Russ Meyer cult classic Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! in the title and yes, this movie is an Easter-themed exploitation flick but it swaps go-go dancers gone amok for a crazed person wearing an Easter bunny mask going around exacting revenge on the lowlifes preying on a single mother and her disabled teenage son.
Directed by Chad Ferrin who you may know from such films as Troma Entertainment’s Tales from the Crapper, Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill! is about as low budget as you can get and goes to some pretty dark places but if you like your horror movies cheap and nasty and your gore delivered by a hammer-wielding homicidal bunny-person then it could well be the Easter-themed film to gorify your Good Friday.
