10 Greatest Fake Pro Wrestlers In Movies

4. The Revolting Blob (Billy Madison)

WWE Zeus
Universal Pictures

What a total scumbag, a true super heel.

The Revolting Blob was guilty of a whole host of disturbing actions during his brief but incredibly infamous run as a professional wrestler. Living up to the adjective in his stage name, the Revolting Blob had a fondness for smacking senior citizens and taking great big seats on the heads of his opponents. He vanished completely in 1983 after straight up killing Ironman McGee by accident mid match.

The Revolting Blob would eventually resurface as the principal of a mid-90s elementary school. Not just any elementary school, mind you, but one where a 27 year old trust fund man-child like Billy Madison can enrol. A frivolous spoof of late 70s/early 80s wrestling, Principal Max Robinson’s masked alter ego becomes key to the plot when he’s blackmailed by Madison’s rival to sabotage his graduation.

Among Adam Sandler’s most popular star vehicles, Billy Madison boasts plenty of the lowbrow idiocy for which he has been both celebrated and panned for. Actor Josh Mostel has fun with the Blob character and remains a funny aspect of the film 25 years on.

John Cunningham hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
