In For The Kill Director Andrew Haigh positions the camera behind a chain-link fence - the audience takes on a bystander's role. Two strangers in public share a gentle, momentous kiss. What Makes It So Great Russell and Glen have spent the entire weekend having sex and fervent discussions. But we never see them kiss as if it were punctuation. An ellipsis, a period, an exclamation point - we don't know. What we do know is this kiss imbues finality. And it erases all doubt, reluctance and self-guarded egotism. They finally embrace what they were so hesitant to express - love. It's the kind of kiss on which audiences from all walks of life can get a real, emotional grasp.
