10 Greatest ‘I’m Dead And I Know It’ Moments In Movie History

9. Zorg Gets His Comeuppance - The Fifth Element

Anyone with a name like Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg should never be trusted, and throughout the film we see that Zorg really is just a nasty piece of work.

He is working for the great evil that everyone else is seeking to destroy, a clear indicator of a bad moral compass. And that hairstyle, just from looking at it you know he’s a bad guy.

It is very satisfying then that he gets such a pathetic death. As our heroes escape in Zorg’s own private spaceship, he is forced to return to the scene of the crime he has just committed in an attempt to obtain some very valuable stones.

He deactivates a bomb he had prepped, anticipating being gone by now, but doesn’t realise that he’s not the only one with explosives to hand. A fallen member of the alien race he previously employed detonates a bomb of his own, and as the realisation his Zorg that he is about to die the fiery death he was condemning others to, all he can do is stutter and utter a lowly “oh no” before he’s blasted to smithereens. Good riddance, I say.
