10 Greatest James Bond Movie Opening Title Sequences

8. Quantum Of Solace (2008)

Far and away concidered the worst of the Daniel Craig era, Quantum of Solace may not have delivered as a film but made up for this in small parts thanks to a powerful opening title sequence.

Expanding on the rock riff sensibilities that propelled Casino Royale's Chris Cornell number to an instant fan favourite, Jack White and Alicia Keys' Another Way to Die doesn't quite hit the same high, but it does capture the spirit, bringing a good hard kick of classic bond motifs back into the mix. Underpinning this are a series of dirty guitar licks and some understated piano, highlighting the yin-yang pairing of two artists as different as White and Keys.

The soundtrack only serves to complement a superb title sequence, replete with lush, dusk-coloured sand and star visuals that really are the best part of a disappointing and confusing film.

Opening with a shot reminiscent of the famous gun barrel sequence, graphic design company MK12 hit the ground running and made a piece of pure spectacle with a revolving 'camera', a three-dimensional Bond, plenty of speeding bullets and typically surreal imagery from top to tail (raining 007 in space, anyone?).
