Many still regard Pulp Fiction to be Quentin Tarantino's greatest film, and while his directorial work is vast, it's hard to top a film that has as many quotable lines as James Cameron's Aliens. Not only is the film extremely memorable for its narrative structure, but the performances of John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson are some of the finest that both have ever produced. Their characters, Jules & Vincent, are both employees of the mobster Marsellus Wallace, tasked with running errands and making collections on his behalf. Like all of Tarantino's films, what makes the two gangsters so memorable are their lengthy dialogue scenes. The most memorable, of course, is when the two criminals are collecting an enigmatic briefcase for Wallace and Jules conducts his famous recital of the biblical passage from Ezekiel 25:17. Exchanging banter about how Europeans call a quarter-pounder with cheese a royale with cheese, the two proceed to gun down the double-crosser Brett and his friends and proceed to stroll out of the apartment. They may both be abhorrent chracters, but every scene the two share on screen is so engrossing you could just watch it on loop. They are, without doubt, the two coolest characters in this list.
