10 Greatest Superhero Movie Themes Of All Time

Unique amongst Pixar's output, The Incredibles is a terrific action/adventure which easily stands alongside the films it pastiches. Forget Toy Story 4 and Finding Dory, The Incredibles is the Pixar film that really deserves a sequel.

While primarily a take on superhero films, director Brad Bird was significantly influenced by the James Bond series - something which very much shows in the film's stylish score. In fact, the filmmakers at first attempted to get Bond theme creator John Barry to complete the film's music, however the semi-retired composer turned it down. 

Thankfully, Michael Giacchino stepped in with a great Barry-esque soundtrack. The theme encapsulates this with its brass-heavy 60s-sound. Bond fans may notice how the opening of the piece echoes the theme to On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
