7. Ruth Bader Ginsberg Wanted To Join X-Force - Deadpool 2
Perhaps the funniest sequence in Deadpool 2 sees the Merc with a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) and Weasel (T.J. Miller) auditioning potential members for their X-Force team.
But one of the best and most suggestive moments in the scene appears on-screen for all of about a half-second at the very start, when we see Deadpool and Weasel leafing through headshots of possible teammates.
The first headshot among the bunch? None other than the late, great associate justice of the American Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Given that the duo are presumably only reading through applications sent to them, we're left to assume that Ginsberg, who was 85 years old at the time of the film's release, somehow got wind of the X-Force's formation and wanted a piece of the action.
To make matters even more hilarious, Ginsburg's headshot even refers to her as the "Notorious R.B.G." Now, we just have to wonder why Deadpool and Weasel didn't opt to have someone so awesome - and useful if you're caught in a legal bind! - on their team.
There's no way Ginsburg would've gotten killed during the film's infamous parachute sequence, that's for sure.
