In just the 18 months from April 2012 to December 2013 Emma Stone has grossed almost $1.6billion at the box office. Now that's definitely something. Her performances in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Croods obviously contributed large amounts to this total, but her roles in Movie 43 and Gangster Squad also were rock-solid performers at the box office. Forbes reckons that Emma Stone brings in almost $45 for every dollar she earns, which puts her up there with Mila Kunis and Jennifer Lawrence as the 3rd best female box office performer of 2012-2013. Starting out in comedies like Superbad, The Rocker and Easy A, Stone quickly moved into dramatic roles like The Help and Gangster Squad, showing her range and genuine likeable talent. With four upcoming films in 2014, including the guaranteed hit of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Stone clearly isn't slowing down and, apparently, we're still all too eager to throw our money to see her be entertaining. Here's to her continued success.

I also do stand-up comedy sometimes... I'm told I'm marginally funny.
