10 Harry Potter Characters Who Were Sorted Into The Wrong House

Sorted House: Gryffindor

Correct House: Ravenclaw

Fred and George only obtained three OWLs each, and such an academic record certainly does not suggest that the famous Weasley twins should have been in Ravenclaw. Outside of their school studies, however, they demonstrated a remarkable level of intelligence.

Their knack for creating both amusing and useful magical items was unmatched, and even Hermione complemented their abilities on more than one occasion. Indeed, she described their Patented Daydream Charms as ‘extraordinary magic’.

The twins were also intelligent in regard to business acumen. They knew precisely how to market and sell their products, as well as how to bring in huge profits for their work.

Though they had their moments of bravery, their unique talents would suggest that the Sorting Hat should have put Fred and George into Ravenclaw rather than Gryffindor.
