10 Haunting Deaths In Horror Movies (That We Never See)

8. Bill Brown - Friday The 13th

There’s no question Kevin Bacon’s character, Jack, has the most iconic death in Friday the 13th. But the way Bill Brown dies is a close-second, which is impressive, considering we never see the camp counsellor pop his clogs.

The last time we see Bill alive, he went to investigate the camp generator after the power went out. When he doesn't return, Alice heads to Bill's working shed. To her horror, she discovers his body pinned to the generator door, with arrows piercing through his eye, throat, torso, and yep, even his testicles.

Although the Friday the 13th franchise is overflowing with cheap jump-scares, Bill's reveal works perfectly. Because of the limited lightning, it takes a moment for us to understand what we're looking at. The fact this scene has little build-up and isn't accompanied with spooky music makes it all the more unexpected.

Also, you can't help feeling bad for poor Bill. Even though Friday the 13th has tons of self-absorbed and vapid characters, Bill was a good guy who genuinely cared about the campers. And yet, he got it worse than anybody.
