6. Devil's Pass - The Mutants

Another case of a movie revealing the villains before the audience is supposed to actually see them for the first time, the pair of mutants in Devil's Pass, a pretty impressive found footage offering from 2012, can be seen in an early scene.

A movie about a bunch of students attempting to solve the mystery of the Dyatlov Pass incident - a strange case from the 50s where a bunch of hikers died from unknown causes in the Ural Mountains - reanimated time travelling mutants act as the monsters here.

They're admittedly a creepy pair, and their proficiency as intelligent hunters is a major contributing factor. Their cunning is teased early on, where you can actually see the mutants spying on our band of humans from afar.

During an otherwise innocuous dialogue scene, the pair can be seen crawling across the snowy slopes just out of focus, getting closer to the camp of their victims before actually attacking.
