One of the best movie theories out there is the Pixar Theory, which puts forth the idea that every single Pixar release - from 1995's Toy Story to 2020's Soul - exists within the same universe.

There are websites, subreddits, and even an entire book dedicated to proving this theory true, and with Pixar continuing to hint at a shared Pixar-verse by putting easter eggs in their movies, the Pixar Theory isn't entirely unfounded.

The studio also likes to put easter eggs on its posters, like this small detail in the Toy Story 4 one-sheet that references 2009's Up.

Just to the left of Bo Peep's head, there's a curious painting hanging on the wall. This painting shows a man playing poker with a group of dogs - and Pixar fans might recognise that this man is actually the villainous Charles Muntz from Up.

Muntz can be seen on the left of the painting - zoom and enhance!

In addition, the dogs are also from Up. The ones in the middle are Muntz's hench-dogs, while the one on the right is the loveable Dug - who will soon be getting his own Disney+ series. Squirrel!

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
