The major caveat here, is that Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies is absolutely a hidden gem... so long as you are a fan of professional wrestling.

For non-wrestling fans, this one may admittedly be a tough watch, but there is so much to enjoy here for those with a penchant for the grappling game.

Going all out to embrace its own insanity, this 2013 Cody Knotts movie brings in actual real-life wrestling stars to square off against the undead. In terms of talent, there's Roddy Piper, Kurt Angle, Shane Douglas, Jim Duggan, Matt Hardy and Reby Sky amongst the names featured.

As for the plot of Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies, Douglas 'accidentally' kills an opponent in the ring, which in turn sees the fallen fighter's brother put in place a plan of revenge. That revenge? Why, that involves luring the former ECW World Champion and his colleagues to an old prison complex, where they end up in the crosshairs of some zombies.

Even better, each wrestler who's turned into a zombie retains their wrestling knowledge - and so there's zombie suplexes and even the sight of Kurt Angle's patented Angle Lock snapping off some fool's foot.
