Every now and then, some of the minor supporting characters in comic book movies have emerged as the stars. Look at Agent Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - the guy got his own television series. More often than not, however, they blend in to the background and are forgotten about, succumbing to the more memorable lead heroes and villains. But then, some of them do nothing more than annoy the living hell out of you, and you end up wondering why in the name of Batman they were put in the movie in the first place.
