Box Office Gross: 1.112 billion yuan It's kind of shocking that Transformers: Dark Of The Moon wasn't seen as a declaration of war when it was first released into Chinese theatres; a gesture of total disrespect sent straight from Hollywood on behalf of the US government in order to provoke the Chinese into all-out combat. Because Transformers 3 is one of the worst movies ever made; there's no way that China could have seen this as anything other than as an insult, right? Apparently not: the Chinese absolutely ate Dark of the Moon up at box office like moon pie. So much so, in fact, that it currently stands as the country's 7th highest-grossing movie of all-time. Everybody knows that Michael Bay's cynical, overtly explosive third Transformers movie is a travesty disguised as entertainment, of course; it's just a shame that China was duped into watching it - along with the rest of the world.
