Jennifer Lawrence went from an aspiring actresses to one of the most popular ones in the space of just a few years. Following her acclaimed, Oscar-nominated performance in 2010's Winter's Bone, Lawrence has set the box office alight with her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise, as well as in the likes of X-Men: First Class, American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbook (for which she won an Oscar). 

She earned a cool $10 million for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and industry insiders claim she could earn north of $15 million+ for another big franchise/tentpole role; in fact, she recently nabbed a whopping $20 million for sci-fi drama Passengers.

Lowest Grossing Film: Garden Party (2008) - $24k

Second time director Jason Freeland made this low budget indie teen drama about a 15-year-old girl named April who, aimlessly moving from one bad situation to another, falls in with a group of confused kids struggling to chase their dreams. At the centre of the group is the audacious, pot-dealing Sally St. Clair (Vinessa Shaw). Lawrence is just one of an ensemble teen cast, playing "Tiff." 

The film only appears to have had a limited theatrical release in the U.S. and nowhere else, leading it to easily sit at the bottom of the actresses' now box office-busting career.
